CLASSIFY OF FILM FACED PLYWOOD

There are many ways to classify the quality of film-coated coppha plywood, at present, they are usually divided into the following categories:

AA coppha plywood core type

  • The veneer layers are whole flat and smooth wood, using glue injection and hot pressing method to bond together.
  • Number of hot pressing times: 3-4 times.
  • Surface: almost perfectly flat.
  • Thickness tolerance: small.
  • Quality: Since this is the highest quality gut, the cost is also the most expensive.

A + type

  • Surface wood: also whole wood, but less hot pressed.
  • Number of hot pressing times: 2-3 times.
  • Surface: smooth flat.
  • Thickness tolerance: small.
  • Quality: used for high quality, very high-quality film faced coppha plywood.

A type

  • Surface wood: whole wood is derived from common woods.
  • Number of hot pressing times: 2 times.
  • Flat surface.
  • Thickness tolerance: small, low.
  • Quality: used for high quality coffa plywood, meeting most European and American standards.

B+ type

  • Surface wood: not whole wood, assembled from common wood panels.
  • Number of hot pressing times: 2 times.
  • Flat surface.
  • Thickness tolerance: small.
  • B + plywood core is used in film faced coppha plywood with medium quality, competitive price and is suitable with the tastes of most customers.

B type

  • Surface wood: not whole wood, assembled from common-size wood panels.
  • Number of hot pressing times: 1 time.
  • Flat surface.
  • Thickness tolerance: relatively small.
  • Type B core is also used to make film-coated coppha plywood of medium quality, low cost, safe and is acceptable to many customers.

C+ type

  • Surface wood: not whole wood, assembled from small, low-quality wood boards.
  • Number of hot pressing times: 2 times.
  • Surface: not perfectly flat, with minor defects.
  • Thickness tolerance: relatively high.
  • Quality: C + type boards are not suitable for film-coated coffa plywood, usually only for the back of furniture due to their low quality.

C type

  • Surface wood: assembled from small chips.
  • Number of hot pressing times: 1 time.
  • Surface: relatively flat, or prone to defects.
  • Thickness tolerance: high.
  • Quality: The quality of the C-type board is very low, the stability is not high, it is not guaranteed, so the price is reasonable.
